Well, Dental Bondinglook no further than your Findlay dentist Dr. Krystal DeClerck. We have a simple treatment that will have your smile looking better in no time.

When is dental bonding recommended?

There are many minor dental issues that can be corrected just by getting dental bonding in Findlay. Dental bonding might be an option for you if you are dealing with any of these problems:

  • Decaying tooth (this will require anesthesia to remove the cavity and fill the tooth)
  • Small chips and cracks in teeth
  • Discolorations and stains
  • Misshapen or oddly shaped teeth
  • Teeth that are too short
  • Small gaps between teeth

What should I expect from my dental bonding procedure?

What makes this a popular cosmetic option is little preparation is required in order to get dental bonding and it isn’t invasive, so no anesthesia is required (unless your Findlay general dentist is filling a cavity). Before we apply the resin, we will first match its color to your tooth.

Then we will use an agent that will roughen the surface of the tooth. Next, a conditioning liquid is applied to help the resin stick to the surface of the tooth more easily. The moldable resin is applied, shaped and smoothed until the ideal shape is achieved. A UV light will be used to harden the resin to the tooth. One quick polish and the tooth is beautiful and looks like new. The whole process only takes anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour per tooth.
